BookLocal is booking software operated by Future Proof Designers LLC (“we”, “us”). By using BookLocal you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use BookLocal. Businesses that use BookLocal to take bookings may be subject to additional terms with us.

BookLocal provides software that lets a business offer appointment booking, take payments and communicate with its customers. The business, not BookLocal, provides the services you book and is responsible for them, including their quality, pricing, availability and its own policies. BookLocal is not a party to the appointment between you and the business.

• Provide accurate details when you book, so the business can reach you and honour the appointment.
• Customers do not need an account to book. A booking can be managed through the secure link sent to you; anyone with that link may be able to manage the booking, so keep it private.
• A booking is confirmed only when the booking page or the business confirms it.

Where a business asks for a deposit or payment at booking, it is shown before you confirm, and it is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Cancellation and no-show rules are set by the business and shown during booking; you may be asked to acknowledge them before you book. BookLocal does not set the business's prices or policies.

You agree not to:

• use BookLocal unlawfully, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
• give false details, or book on behalf of someone without their authority;
• interfere with or attempt to break the security, availability or integrity of the service;
• scrape, probe or access data or accounts that are not yours, or use automated means to create bookings;
• send unlawful, abusive or unsolicited messages through the service.

Text messages are sent only if you opt in. Service and reminder texts and marketing texts are separate consents; each is optional, unchecked by default, and not a condition of booking, purchase or of using BookLocal. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We work to keep BookLocal available, but it may be unavailable from time to time, for example for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. Features may change, and not every feature is available to every business.

BookLocal, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Future Proof Designers LLC or its licensors. You may use it as these terms allow, but you may not copy it, resell it, or reverse engineer it except where the law permits. A business keeps its own name, logo and content.

BookLocal is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the services a business provides, for a business's acts or omissions, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of BookLocal. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or end access to BookLocal for conduct that breaks these terms, harms others, or puts the service at risk. You may stop using BookLocal at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue after access ends, such as those on intellectual property and disclaimers, do so.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
